Haus am Waldsee‘s 10.000 square meter park is a sculpture park in permanent transition. Here, we debate the contemporary concept of sculpture by means of selected works. The artists mostly live in Berlin and have enjoyed international success. The spectrum encompasses the most renowned German sculptor of the post-war period, Karl Hartung, and the most recent positions of Tony Cragg, Thomas Rentmeister and Michael Beutler. After the initial, temporary project “Mauerwerk” (masonry) by Frank Bölter the park has been accessible to the public since July 2010 and has changed ever since. We are very grateful to the lenders, donors and artists for their generous support.

Currently on display are works by Peter Ablinger, Lynn Chadwick, Tony Cragg, Karl Hartung, Olav Christopher Jenssen, Daniel Pflumm, Thomas Rentmeister, Francis Zeischegg, Michael Beutler und Brad Hwang.

Open daily 11 am to 6 pm
