Association

The friends and supporters are committed to lend support to the artistic activities of the house in material as well as non-material ways. They also contribute to financing the exhibitions by their subscriptions and donations. 

The association aims to make Haus am Waldsee and its artistic activities sustainable. It does so by maintaining and expanding an ambitious programme of the highest possible standard.

The association was founded in the mid-1990s. These days the association has approximately 700 members, a number that continues to grow steadily. The members are private individuals and companies with a passion for the arts. They hail from Berlin and far beyond.

Benefits

First and foremost, there is the pleasure and assurance of supporting a cultural project of the highest order. As a friend and supporter you have the opportunity of experiencing art and culture at one of the loveliest, and most intimate, locations the city has to offer. You are invited to join the lively debate of positions in contemporary art. Additionally you are entitled to:

free admission to all exhibitions

exclusive members‘ preview to every exhibition (plus one)
private tours to galleries and studios
special editions to current exhibitions
special events for members only
regular information regarding events
cooperations with other cultural institutions

Costs

Individual person: 90 Euro per annum

Married couples: 135 Euro per annum

Reduced membership fee: 45 Euro per annum

Sustaining membership: 260 Euro per annum

Sustaining membership for married couples: 390 Euro per annum

Legal bodies: 1.800 Euro per annum (including an individually arranged service package)

Donations

Whether through membership or donation – we are glad to receive any contribution that will allow us to continue our work.

For donations of up to 300 euros, you do not need a separate donation receipt from us. In order for your donation or membership fee to be recognised by the tax office as a donation, it is sufficient to submit the relevant bank statement and the document provided under the link below to the tax office.
