We are looking forward to the Salon on Intellectual Property at Haus am Waldsee on the topic of ‘Art in Law’ with Katharina de la Durantaye and Jannis Lennartz. We will be discussing the fact that art is becoming increasingly difficult to define in legal terms, while at the same time its definition is becoming ever more urgent.
Dr Ruth Lecher and Dr Viktoria Kraetzig founded the Salon on Intellectual Property in Berlin a few years ago to create a space for interdisciplinary exchange in the field of intellectual property. The Salon on Intellectual Property always takes place at different locations and on different topics.
Places are limited. Please register by email by 15 June 2025 to: salon.geistiges.eigentum@posteo.de

Historical guided tour with Dr. Christian Welzbacher

Tickets available soon
Haus am Waldsee invites you to a historical tour with Dr Christian Welzbacher on the history of Haus am Waldsee. In addition to the founding phase and the first years of the cultural institution, the prehistory of the building, which was erected in 1923, and its residents also play a role – three biographies that could hardly be more different: a Jewish textile merchant, a German nationalist manager and a National Socialist film functionary.
Dr Christian Welzbacher is a historian, publicist and exhibition organiser. Among other things, he researches the history of the Haus am Waldsee and published the text The Haus am Waldsee and its residents. An attempt at an approach.
The tour will be held in German language.
