Artist Talk with Johanna Diehl
In a lively discussion with artist Johanna Diehl, museologist Susanne Weiss and curator Katja Blomberg, background information on Diehl’s work process and the type of research were shared with the large
audience. The way the artist deals with the presence of absence, as she cultivates it in her work and can bee seen in architecture, also affects the biographies after the Second World War until today. It was possible to reflect on this intensively in an almost private atmosphere created by the house. Johanna Diehl patiently answered all questions concerning the artistic handling of a personal inheritance. Afterwards, the talk was reflected upon with some wine in the café.
