Werner Aisslinger

Aisslinger‘s practice revolves around the question of how we will live and work tomorrow. Today‘s patchwork families have different needs than communities of the past. This also affects their living spaces. At the same time, new materials have emerged and are being used in the car industry, as well as medical and life sciences. Aisslinger transfigures these materials and applies them to objects of our immediate living quarters. In his first institutional solo exhibition, the Berlin designer supplies experimental answers to the questions of how we will cook, communicate, rest, work and think tomorrow or how we will treat older but still serviceable objects.
