Anniversary – 80 Years Haus am Waldsee
In 2026, the Haus am Waldsee will celebrate its 80th anniversary. This anniversary, together with this year’s Summer School and an exhibition in 2026, will be dedicated to the unique history of an institution that was founded in the immediate aftermath of the Second World War. As the oldest existing institution for contemporary art in Berlin, its significance is based not only on its historical context, but above all on its unique exhibition programme, which has helped shape international art history ever since.
