Symposium “Art and Climate Change”

Symposium “Art and Climate Change”

Lecture by Antje Majewski

This afternoon, Patrick Rohner (CH) spoke about the geological changes in the Alps, Antje Majewski (D) about our forests and the spread of the bark beetle, and Markus Jeschaunig (A) about technical possibilities for cooling public spaces in our big cities with natural means during increased summer temperatures.
All three lectures on the topic of “Art and Climate Change” were received very concentrated. Surprisingly, there were no discussions. The afternoon ended with a look into the future: with Markus Jeschaunig’s “Weather Project” at the Waldsee. Inspired and alarmed, thoughtful listeners returned home.
