For a total of six days, twenty children were guests at Haus am Waldsee as part of two holiday academies and immersed themselves in the world of Christiane Löhr. Inspired by the artist’s delicate sculptures and her creation from natural materials, the children also went in search of leaves, grasses and branches in the sculpture garden. Small sculptures were created from these. These collected pieces also served as inspiration for drawings and watercolour paintings. But what the children enjoyed the most was certainly making paper! How exciting that paper is created from newspaper scraps and water! The holiday academy was led and conceived by Katherina Perlongo and Daniel Schaal.
