Bird Tour and Multimedia Show with Dominik Eulberg

Photos: Haus am Waldsee

Dominik Eulberg, biologist, ecologist, conservationist and DJ seeks different mediums to share his extensive and detailed knowledge with the general public. In light rain, his scientific bird tour began in a relaxed tone in the event room before a kingfisher, ducks, blue tits, pigeons and great crested grebes were spotted on the shore of the Waldsee. Eulberg provided lots of information on breeding and flight behaviour or distribution in the ever-shrinking overall population in Germany. Thus, after three hours, all visitors present were equally touched and inspired. Even more so when, at the end, bats were located with a detector and their high frequency became audible, which Eulberg makes the rhythmic foundation of his electro sounds.
